As I said yesterday, the maple tree in front of my house is blooming. Lately, I posted a blog about one of my favorite trees, but this maple tree is probably my all time favorite. I've been living here for many years and I saw it going through all types of weather, even the worst ice storm we ever experienced in Eastern Canada. I saw its branches bend more and more everyday, but they never broke.

Every spring this maple tree is the first one to bloom on the street and every fall, it's the last one to loose its leaves after becoming golden yellow. It keeps my house fresh during summer and let me pretend that my balcony is a tree house. It's so big and thick that I don't need curtains. Nope, my third floor apartment wouldn't be the same without this tree...
