That is amazingly beautiful! Is it a water reservoir? Turned into an object of art? I love rust - I think it is nature's own paint - maybe I'm romantic about it, but I just think rusted objects look beautiful.(Except for my car of course - then I get a kind of sinking feeling when I see a new spot of rust. It is almost 25 years old and its gonna have to last another 25 years!)
I don't know if it was ever used as a water tank but it's a bottle of milk on top of a milk company. They want to demolish the building it's on but they say they will relocate the bottle and maybe restore it. I hope they do a good job!
nathalie, i put the link to postcards printer on my comments for to answer your question. let me know if you've found it ok. otherwise e mail me and i'll send link back to you.
these two shots are wonderful. especially the first one that really shows the contrast between new and shiny and rusty and tarnished. i also adore the phrase..."what time does when it has time".
If you wish to use one of my images, please let me know. If you wish to pin one of my images onto Pinterest or Tumblr, please make sure that you indicate the proper credits. That would be really swell. Thank you!
