yellow...

Sophie invited her blog visitors to find 7 yellow things in their home. Since yellow is one of my favorite colors, I grabbed my camera and took some shots. I got a bit excited and posted 8 things. I could have added more but thought it would be a bit too yellow. Funny, the day after I saw that post from Sophie, p.k. posted one also entitled yellow.

1. papier mâché mask made by my niece when she was in kinder garden 2. Les fleurs du mal by Charles Beaudelaire 3. postit full of cats hair 4. yellow curry spices 5. papier mâché bowl 6. cup that I use to collect the coffee coming out of the machine (made it at a ceramic café during my niece's birthday party) 7. blow glass apple I got years ago while on vacations at Iles de la Madeleine (most beautiful place in the world) 8. shopping bag from Renaud Bray, a Barnes & Nobles kind of book store.

Do you have 7 yellow things in your home? or of any other favorite color ?

Laurie asked me to choose the week word. Although I already choose a week word in the past, I accepted because it took me too much time to answer her and I didn't want her to have to find someone at the last minute. Anyway, I'll be posting the word tomorrow. I'm warning you, it's gonna be a very easy one!

J'ai fait aussi ce tag sur le jaune. J'aime ces livres rangés par ordre alphabétique, et la pomme en verre.

Nathalie, I so love the idea of a word a week, or a color a week...and love your choice of yellows here. I also did a yellow mosaic a while back...attempting to grasp a sunny, happy combination to fill the fading shades of fall. I think I'll continue the idea...thank you for the inspiration.
