I heard recently that the shooting of the never released Henri-Georges Clouzot movie L'enfer (Hell) was... a real hell. Only a few shots of this movie remain. Serge Bromberg made a documentary about the whole nightmare. He says that Clouzot was obnubilated by the beauty of Romy Shneider and could not think straight. You can see why here. Haunting music, unusual use of a slinky.

I enjoyed the suble colours in this series, especially the first photo, the pink and blue attracted me. As for the link, you are right about the slinky.
