cold...

oreiller

I came back from my trip with a cold. I spent most of yesterday reading under a blanket. And I haven't had the time and, dare I say, the interest to go trough my photos lately. I'm almost a month behind.

I find that time for myself is getting so scarce since I started to work full time that I want to spent the remaining off hours doing real life things, away from the computer. So I'm taking a little break from blogging. I will think about what I want to do about this space. I know I'll keep my blog running but most probably in another fashion.

I'll still visit you guys but might not comment very much :)

Have a great week!

peaches...

peaches and melon

I'm off soon for a 36 hours trip to the north of Ontario. I hope to take some photos. Until I'm back, I'll tell you what my friend Bob always says: Eat a peach!

neighborhood...

The new office where I work is very very nice. It used to be an old little bank with high ceilings and big windows, modern kitchen and a little terrace on the roof to have lunch when the weather allows it. But it's situated in a very modest neighborhood. Although modest, I keep on finding some very interesting places like a used book store with great titles at a ridiculous price or a gallery/art bookstore.

It's been my seventh week of work there already. Everyday, I've been going by this building but it took me a couple of weeks to notice how funky it really is!

Wishing you a great weekend!

Last of my photos from the sémainaire, on the kitchen side.

Monday morning, up early, still a bit tired. I had a quiet weekend. I finished a book, started a new one, had dinner at my sister's saturday night and a very long walk yesterday. And of course, I cooked part of the afternoon. How was your weekend?

A couple of weeks ago, we went for a walk in a part of town that I don't often visit in order to take photos for a work project. This is the Grand Séminaire de Montréal, the school for Sulpicians fathers. It is such a gorgeous place! I'm not a religious person, but I enjoy these quiet places full of history. There lies one of the oldest settlers site of Montreal. The latin citation over the door means here we evangelize the indians. Yep!

But I'm a bit annoyed by the new way to grab photo links on Flickr. Why do these sites have to change things all the time?

more market...

The sign says: Lettuce, oak leaves from Québec, picked last night, no pesticides, soft and tender taste.

Wishing you a soft and tender week with no pesticides!

market...

The market down the street is at it's peak. Everything looks so good and fresh. I have been going there for more than 15 years and I never get tired of it. Actually, every time I set foot there, I get overwhelmed and buy way too much. But it's ok, I always manage to eat it all!
