Yes I'm still alive. I had another crazy week at work and never got enough sleep. I was happy to have another 3 days weekend (it's Canada Day) but my landlady woke me up at 8:o0 this morning and I have a pair of young neighbors who like to party a lot. How they love their music loud. Very loud! Ah well, lets hope I can make up for lost sleep in the next 2 days...

Nice to have you around again! But I know what you mean, sometimes work soaks up all your energy and nothing is left for the lovely things in life! In Germany the weather is kind of crazy, hot and cold changing like in April (not sure if you know what I mean or it's just a German pun)! Got a cold from this unsteadiness. But my garden seems to enjoy this kind of weather! Hope your neighbours will party outside this weekend and you can get some extra sleep! Enjoy it

now i am curious about what you do at work.
this summer is a cloud i can't seem to grasp. all of a sudden it has evaporated into raindrops, just to become a fluffy cloud again.

Gorgeous photo. Good to see you posting. No I did not see the Royal couple on Parliament Hill, my celebration was elsewhere. As for the berries, I was not impressed with their flavour or the price. They are apparently full of anti-oxidants. Have a great weekend!
Oh, noisy neighbors are horrible, if you want to sleep. :) I have a neighbor who gets up every morning at about 6:30 the newspaper from the mailbox - coughing loudly under my bedroom window.
Last week we were swimming in the pool. Now it has cooled and we brew a jacket. :(
oh... precious sleep... not nice to lose it to these annoyances...
