This plant growing on an electric post brought a smile to me. Who did that? Maybe the same person who grows the Post Fruits (the little sculpture you see on the post).

Hmmm! I don't know if I will take many photos during my vacation. We went for a 5 hours walk yesterday and only took 2 bad ones. I'm now running on past month's photos. Ah well, I may get my groove back soon...

Day 2 of vacations. I already feel the benefits of getting up when my body says so instead of the alarm clock. It might be only one hour, but it's the best one!

We had a tough heat wave last week but today is gorgeous! Dry and fresh and sunny. So it will be a walk up the Mountain this afternoon and a barbecue tonight. Hopefully I'll take a few photos...

vacation...

This is it. I'm finally on vacation for 3 weeks!!! I'm so happy. It's been a year since I started to work at this place and it's been one hell of a roller coaster. But I will forget about it for now and just enjoy the nice little breeze coming in from the door.

last week...

It's my last week of work before my vacations. It promises to be an intense one. I can't wait for it to be over! I hope you are all well. Have a very good week!

The other week, my downstairs neighbor friends were away. So I inherited their farmer's basket. The variety was incredible. I cooked a lot and made a fantastic basil pesto and a scape pesto which I haven't tasted yet.

We are having a superb summer here and it takes me away from the computer and blogging. I hope you're having a good time. I'll visit soon!

Heading for a walk downtown, this garage sale stopped me in my tracks. So many items caught my attention. It was very hard to resist.

Despite the crazy days at work, I had two 3 days weekends in a row during which I enjoyed summer as much as possible. I just love this time of year when every week, every day even, brings a new crop. This year is very good for strawberries. They are the best I had in years. The jam I made is so fragrant! Mmmm!

This is something I really want to watch.

Revisiting an old photo...

Yes I'm still alive. I had another crazy week at work and never got enough sleep. I was happy to have another 3 days weekend (it's Canada Day) but my landlady woke me up at 8:o0 this morning and I have a pair of young neighbors who like to party a lot. How they love their music loud. Very loud! Ah well, lets hope I can make up for lost sleep in the next 2 days...
