There seem to be a new trend in my neighborhood: putting Christmas lights on the clotheslines...

I had very cozy days lately. It feels so good! It's been a while since I had time to read for many hours in a row. I love it!!!

Now I'm off for a little trip down South. Will go check if people hang their Christmas lights on the clotheslines in Washington DC. I'll keep you posted.

I wish you a very Happy New Year. Love, health and creativity!

Do you hear the angels sing? The harp and trumpets? I do. I'm on vacation!!! The last week at work was a lot smoother than the last months. We had a great Christmas party with colleagues and clients. I must say my bosses went overboard with the caterer. It was fantastic! Since I didn't not have much to do until next year, I decided to start my vacations earlier.

So now I'm off to buy food for tomorrow and Sunday. I'm happy for it is snowing right now. We may have a white Christmas after all!

I know the photos up here don't reflect the time of year but I haven't been shooting pictures much lately. These were taken after the first frost which makes interesting looking flowers.

So what are your plans for the holidays? Lots of celebration or quiet times? Traveling?

The plants I brought inside for winter are still looking good. They grow wild long stems and small leaves but I kind of like this wintery look. Speaking of winter, we are srill waiting for some snow. Hoping for a white Christmas. The good side of it though is that I'm still wearing my shoes!

As for my little fellow Sadou, he is getting so old. He's 16! He's getting thinner and thinner and acts a bit senile. But he still seems happy and he loves to cuddle more than ever. I try to saver every moment I can with him... just in case, you know...

Sébastien Bisson. A great graphic designer from here.

Wow! This working thing is getting out of hand. I brought work home for the weekend. Not good. It explains though why you don't see me around your blogs. I hope everything will resume to normal by the end of the week. See you then! In the mean time, I wish you a very good week.

p.s. I had a very cryptic anonymous comment here last night. I just want to say that from now on, any anonymous comment will be deleted unless the writer identifies him/her self by signing.

p.p.s can you see that I'm a bit cranky lately?

p.p.p.s lets leave on a nice link.

Valérie sent me this fantastic package that promises to keep me warm all winter. I am sipping a cup of this deliciously fragrant tea and I wore the gloves to go to the market yesterday (it was pretty chilly compared to the last days). Merci Valérie !

We still have fall weather here. Winter doesn't seem to settle in yet. There are still some farmers at the market selling late crop, right next the Christmas tree sellers.

Speaking of Christmas, I think I should start thinking about it. But with this mild weather, it's hard to get in the mood. Are you in the Christmas mood yet?
