I'm off for a short gig at my old job today. Feels weird to go back. But I' happy to see my former colleagues!

I decided to leave my Instagram account alone for a while. Since I take my photos on an Ipad (very low resolution) and that it is not 4G, I am mostly confine to take images in my home and I don't feel very inspired. How many photos of coffee mugs or cats can Instagram still support?

The veggies are coming along. But I realize that we should have got an older strawberry plant. So far, we had 3 strawberries and I think that they will be the only ones. And I realize that it takes more time than I thought for the radishes to get big. We ate two tomatoes but there is a bunch ripening right now. And the green beans are growing very fast!  The cucumber plants are flowering. So despite some disappointments, I find it is really nice to experiment on all these veggies.

Clients from Hell is a place I go when I feel frustrated about my job. They've put up this video, which is pretty funny.

Some flowers from my balcony gardens. Everything is blooming well but talking with my sister, I realize that pot gardening takes more time than a real garden. We had very hot and sunny weather this week and she says that her garden is going crazy while ours is going normal. :) 

I will show you some of the veggies soon.

Rue de l'Inspecteur, what a cute name! I didn't know it existed. There is a big police station on that street. And ruelle Palace, the shoe doesn't fit on this one as you can see on the last photo! 

Do you have a Pinterest account? Do you like it? I don't have one because I'm afraid I would spend too much time there. My friend J open one lately and I visit it on a regular basis. We both have very similar tastes, especially for portraits, and I fell in love with many of her pins. I discovered a bunch of fantastic artists thanks to her. Amongst my favorites: Mark Demsteader, Maya Kulenvic and Cristina Troufa.

X-fois gens chaises was presented during the Festival Transamériques a couple of weeks ago. This dance and theater festival always has a great program and very interesting street performances. I believe that the lady eating a lobster is the mother of someone I know. I have to investigate this.

I am glad to say that my back feels much better now and that I can start moving around again. I was worried i would be stuck like this for the rest of my life. :)

Although I love mornings, I'm not a very early bird. I usually get up at around 7. But that morning, I was up before the sun and was able to capture some rays in the living room. I don't see the sun in this part of the apartment very often...

Miscellaneous home bits. I found the green Shawnee vase at a garage sale and I love it! My week went by very fast again. Even if I haven't done much due to a bad back pain. This weekend should be very nice weather wise so I hope to be able to go take a couple of walks at the park and stretch that back. Wishing you a great weekend!

A couple of weeks ago I went to visit the e-merge exhibit that took place during C2-MTL. This red installation made me smile. I guess you have to live in Montreal to understand the irony of it. For many summers now, Montreal's streets are filled with those red cones used to indicate many different construction sites causing massive traffic jams.

It's been a while since I went to the park. I bet the babies have grown a lot since then... Aren't they cute?!

on another note, I finally finished my website! It is always interesting to go over the work done in the last years. I realize the I have worked on many exhibitions and that I really like it! But then again, I like the other stuff too! :)

For now though, my goal is to paint on a more regular basis, hoping to add some new work in my shop.
